Mentorship Programs
An innovative program hosted every year to train upcoming Bioscience students to foster a new generation of Bioscientists in Liberia.
The Mentorship program set as a beacon for emerging scientists seeking to carve their path in the dynamic landscape of reserach and innovation.
Lasting six months, this program offeres a transformative journey where aspiring talents interact closely with seasoned researchers, fostering not only scientific advancement but also robust networking opportunities.
Through structured guidance and mentorship from over 4 mentors, over 10 mentees will be empowered to flourish and emerge as tomorrow's scientitific leaders. This innovative program is designed to foster a new generation of leaders in the biosciences field, and we are excited to announce that we will be exclusively selecting top-tier applicants who meet the rigorous qualification for our prestigious Journal Club
Journal Club
The Journal Club is a program that brings bioscience students and professionals together to discuss and evaluate recent and pressing articles in the field. It is a key component of the BIORIL Mentorship Program. Selected mentees will be invited to join the Journal Club, where they will have the opportunity to represent BioRil at conferences, TED Talks, research seminars, and more.
This is not just an ordinary journal club. Members are well-prepared and equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to represent BIORIL successfully.
Synergy Session
Hosted every last Sunday of the month, students, researchers, and Bioscience enthusiats meet to listen to professionals and collaborate with peers and mentors. These sessions are hosted to bring together interested individual in Bioscience. At the synergy sessions, Doctors, Educational Professionals, etc. within the Bioscience areas are brought to share their knowledge with you.
We also share educational podcasts and have an interactive discussions. We group individuals into teams of focused group to share their knowledge and come up with a presentation at the end of each session. During the synergy sessions, you network and meet friends with similar or different backgrouds of Bioscience. The synergy sessions are meant to boost your knowledge and open you up to Bioscience within Liberia.
